Aphrodisiac Scents and Smells

Do you know the show Brainiac? It's a show in the UK that basically puts to the test everyday 'science' stuff like testing how far a shopping cart will go if a tank of CO2 is attached to it. Hilarious!

Anyway, what caught my attention was this test they did on pheromones, a known aphrodisiac scent. The test included a very sexy woman who was blindfolded. She then had to 'smell' three men and decide who she wants to date that night. The goal of the test was to determine if indeed pheromones will work.

So first up was a really geeky looking guy, on whom the produces of the show sprayed pheromone scent on. The second guy was a midget who had on expensive aftershave cologne. The last guy was a sexy hunk(!) but he had to do some push ups and jumping jacks so that he gets the smell of 'sweat'.

So who do you think the blindfolded sexy woman chose as a date? The midget with the aftershave cologne!

Initially, you would think here that aphrodisiac scents don't work. If it did, then she should have chosen the guy with pheromones sprayed on him. But if you think about it a bit more... you realize that SCENT does influence how a woman reacts to you! She chose the midget because she can only smell the men. Otherwise, she would have chosen the sexy hunk that smelled like sweat.

So don't completely disregard the power of scents as an aphrodisiac. Just don't choose one that's pheromones-based!

How to Use the Power of Scent

If you want to aid your sexual appeal with scents, then I suggest you pay close attention to what your woman likes. For example, if she's into lavender and vanilla-scents then go for an aftershave with a tinge of these scents. You can also light some vanilla candles or put some lavender oil on a scent burner so that your living room (or any room for that matter) brings her to a sexy state right away.

The key is to work based on what she already likes. One of my male clients once bought strawberry-scented massage oil because he THOUGHT his woman liked it. (Somehow, he equates strawberry scents as liked by ALL women.) He was dead wrong. She hated it. She said it smelled way too sweet and gave her a headache. He kissed his chances for sex that night for sure!

You should also take into consideration what mood or time of day you want to put your aphrodisiac scents to work. For example, if she's just coming home from work, then she probably wouldn't even think of hopping directly into mad and having hot, wild sex with you. She's just too tired!

So what do you do? Put some relaxing scents on first like almond oil or rose. Once she's had a whiff of these scents and begins to relax, she'll be more open to idea of having sex with you.

And here's another thing you can do: bake pumpkin pie! According to research, the smell of pumpkin pie increases blood flow to a woman's vagina. Don't know how to make pumpkin pie? Just buy a ready-made one and put it in the oven just before your woman arrives. This will make the whole room (or house) smell like pumpkin pie and this will help her get the 'juices' flowing!

So here's my great idea: bake or make pumpkin pie and make sure the whole house smells like it. Then prepare a nice, warm bath with vanilla or lavender oil burning on the scent burner. (Don't use too many different oils! You'll give each other a headache if you do.) Put a small plate of chocolate bonbons (another aphrodisiac!) on the side of the tub and - if budget permits - a small, chilled bottle of bubbly on the side.

Now, with her body soft, wet and relaxed, her mind taking in the love-inducing smells and you feeding her with chocolates... this can only lead to one thing!

Recent Research Reveals... Breast Milk as an Aphrodisiac?!?

Actually, it's not breast milk per se but the scent given off by someone nursing. According to Martha McClintock, a professor of psychology at the University of Chicago, chemicals found in the sweat of breast-feeding mothers increased sexual desire in other women! This finding is now spurring discussion on how this 'chemical' can be harnessed to create a 'desire-inducing' drug for women!

Well, that may seem a lone way off yet so for now, if you see someone nursing or know of a relative who is, better get your woman near her!
